January: A Blossoming Journey is beginning

Mr. Aaron Butler is thrilled to share with Parents and Jaguars a celebration of achievements, key highlights of past events, and warm wishes to the SISS community for the Year of the Snake.

Happy New Year and welcome to another exciting year at SISS! I hope this message finds you refreshed and ready to embark on 2025 with enthusiasm and determination. As we move forward into Term 3, I am thrilled to share updates, celebrate achievements, and highlight key past events.

First and foremost, congratulations to our incredible Talented Engineer Team! Their outstanding performance in the recent Regional Round of the VEX Robotics Vietnam National Championship 2025 has brought immense pride to the SISS community. Their dedication, teamwork, and innovation have been exemplary, and we eagerly anticipate their continued success in future challenges. Well done to our talented students and their dedicated teacher.

As we kick off the year, I would like to recap some important activities and extend warm messages about past events.

First, our Student-led Conference from January 20 – 22, 2025. These meetings were a valuable opportunity to discuss your child’s progress, set goals, and strengthen our partnership in supporting their learning journey.

Second, the Spring Festival was on January 24, 2025. We had a joyous celebration of community and culture as we hosted our annual Spring Festival. This event brought us a day filled with fun activities, performances, and opportunities for Parents to participate. It was a wonderful way to connect with fellow families and experience the vibrant spirit of SISS.

From January 27 to February 9, 2025, we will celebrate Tet. This special time of year reminds us of the importance of family, gratitude, and renewal. On behalf of the entire SISS staff, I wish you and your loved ones health, happiness, and prosperity in the Year of the Snake. May it be a year filled with success and joy for all.

As we begin this new chapter, I encourage students to set ambitious goals, embrace challenges, and make the most of the opportunities available at SISS.

Parents, your support and engagement are invaluable, and I look forward to seeing many of you at our upcoming events.

Let’s make 2025 a year to remember. Together, we can achieve great things!

Best wishes,

Aaron Butler
