Presentation Contest: “Her Words, Our Inspiration: Celebrating Women Who Inspire Us”
Goals
To welcome International Women’s Day on March 08, 2024, Sydney International School System (SISS) will organize a presentation contest with the theme “Her Words, Our Inspiration: Celebrating Women Who Inspire Us.” The contest is a playground for students to honor the role of women while practicing public speaking skills and improving team spirit within their House System.
Participants
All SISS students. Students can participate individually or in groups.
Note: Group members must be in the same House.
Information
29/02 – 03/03/2024: Participants will register, prepare a presentation of 3 to 5 minutes, and send the PowerPoint (if any) before March 03, 2024.
05 – 06/03/2024: Students participate in the School Round at their campus. The Organizing Committee will select 3 excellent presentations from each House to participate in the Final Round.
08/03/2024: Students participate in the Final Round at 43 Nguyen Thong Campus. Students can reuse their presentations or extend them for at most 5 minutes. The Organizing Committee will select the 6 best presentations to award prizes.
Each student participating in the contest will receive a shopping voucher at Fahasa Bookstore worth 200,000 VND and an equivalent certificate for the round they participated in.

Le Duong Hoang Kim from Year 3 and Bui Linh San from Year 2 – The 2 most notable names of the House Presentation Competition with the theme “Her Words, Our Inspiration: Celebrating Women Who Inspire Us” have been revealed!
Displaying stage mastery skills and presenting impressive ideas, Jaguars delivered confident and insightful presentations about famous female figures, thereby partly proving their deep understanding and sharp awareness of the role of women.
Furthermore, today’s “small stage” will serve as a motivation for them to continue to the School Round of the TEDxSISS Youth 2023 – 2024 that will take place on March 14, 2024.
