A Loving and Joyful Year of the Snake

The SISS family came together to welcome the Year of the Snake with excitement and happiness during the Spring Festival “Wellness Grows, Tet Glows”, held on January 24, 2025.

In the gentle and warm atmosphere of spring – a season of love and togetherness – the 125 Tran Quoc Thao Campus buzzed with excitement during the spirited Spring Festival. Dressed in colorful traditional Tet attire, Jaguars and their families participated in a variety of engaging activities: enjoying spectacular spring performances, witnessing a unique “catwalk” show, supporting fundraising booths for the Community Fund “Build A Better Tomorrow”, and exploring captivating games and experiences such as crossing the monkey bridge, painting piggy banks, practicing calligraphy, and crafting “To He”.

One of the event’s highlights was the lively and meaningful auction, which saw enthusiastic participation from Parents. The School selected 5 student artworks to feature in this auction. After each presentation by the Jaguars about their art pieces, Parents eagerly placed their bids to own the creations. What made this activity truly special was that all proceeds were donated to the Community Fund to support the main project, “Yen Bai – For a Brighter Tomorrow” (Phase 2).

Additionally, Parents attending the event had the proud opportunity to witness the presentation of awards to individuals and classes whose artworks stood out in the Tet Floral Art Contest and the Tet Drawing Contest “Hues of Tet Harmony”.

As we bid farewell to the Year of the Dragon, the happy SISS community steps into the Year of the Snake with ambitious plans and aspirations. The School extends its heartfelt gratitude to Parents for joining the recent Spring Festival and for their continued support of the Community Fund, which enables meaningful projects to assist people in Yen Bai.

The School also wishes to express its deep appreciation for the steadfast companionship and trust of families in 2025. May the joy and happiness we shared during the Spring Festival encourage the SISS community to pursue its philosophy of happy education in the new year.
