Admission Process

01. CONSULTATION
Parents and students will be consulted about the learning programs, admission process, facilities, extracurricular activities, admission requirements, school rules, fees, transportation, and summer courses based on the official policies of SISS and the Ministry of Education and Training.

02. ENTRANCE TESTS
For Students in Prep and Year 1:
Interviews with a Vietnamese teacher, a foreign teacher, and the School’s psychology teacher Otherwise, students can participate in the “1-Week Experience to Become SISS’s Students”.
For students from Year 2 and and higher year levels:
- Take tests on paper: Mathematics, Vietnamese, and English
- Interview with a foreign teacher and the School’s psychology teacher
- Take tests on paper: Mathematics and English
- Interview with a foreign teacher and the School’s psychology teacher

03. ADMISSION RESULTS
Admission is based on the results of the entrance exam, comments from the Academic Council, and the availability of the school at that time
The result, or Letter of Offer, will be informed to parents within at least 3 – 5 working days.
The Academic Council includes the Head of School, Principal of the New South Wales program, and the program coordinators.

04. ENROLLMENT
- Application form
- A notarized copy of birth certificate
- A copy of valid ID card (for students who do not have an Identification Number on their birth certificate)
- A copy of Parent’s Citizen ID card on both sides
- A copy of passport (applied for foreign students)
- General health examination records
- Application form
- A notarized copy of birth certificate
- A copy of valid ID card (for students who do not have an Identification Number on their birth certificate)
- A copy of Parent’s Citizen ID card on both sides
- A copy of passport (applied for foreign students)
- General health examination records
- An original copy of transcript (applied for Integrated Bilingual Program)
- School transfer recommendation letter
- A certificate of completion in Primary School program (applied for students enrolling in Year 6)
