An Energetic, Vibrant October of Breakthroughs

With a series of engaging and experiential learning activities this October, Mr. Aaron Butler – Vice Principal of the International Program – has some words to share with the citizens of the SISS happy forest to cheer and praise their enthusiastic spirit.

As we reflect on the events of October and look ahead, I would like to share some highlights and upcoming activities that connect deeply with our core value of Caring.

Well-being Day – October 4

On October 4, we celebrated Well-being Day, which provided our students with invaluable opportunities to engage in activities focused on mental, emotional, and physical health. Students participated in workshops and discussions that promoted resilience and empathy. It was heartwarming to see our community come together to prioritize self-care and support one another. Thank you for encouraging your children to embrace these important lessons.

PAIS Online Assessments – October 7 to 11

Following Well-being Day, we conducted the PAIS online assessments from October 7 to 11. These assessments allowed us to gather insights into our students’ progress and understanding. I appreciate the support many of you provided at home, reinforcing the idea that caring for our children’s education involves collaboration between the School and family. Your encouragement during this time made a significant difference in their confidence and performance.

Halloween – October 31

As October draws to a close, we will also be celebrating Halloween on October 31. This festive occasion offers a chance for fun and creativity, but it also provides an opportunity to instill values of inclusivity and respect. We encourage our students to think about how they can show kindness to others during the celebrations, ensuring that everyone feels included and respected.

Throughout this month, the theme of caring has been woven into each event, and it is vital for us to continue fostering this value in our school community. Together, we can create a nurturing environment that promotes growth, respect, and compassion.

Warm regards,

Mr. Aaron Butler
Vice Principal of the International Program
