Making the Technology Project Was So Funny

December 11, 2024

Year 3 students brought creativity to life by designing their own “Make it Fly” game using Scratch. They confidently presented and introduced their innovative project during the recent “Our First 100 Days of Blossoming” event on December 29, 2024, leaving a lasting impression.

Technology is one of the most beloved subjects for SISS students, as it immerses them in a creative learning environment and equips them with essential skills for the digital future. At each year level, students are introduced to different knowledge and skills, ranging from basic to advanced levels. Through this approach, they can refine their abilities, confidently participate in competitions both inside and outside the School, and demonstrate their talents.

Often praised by their Technology Teacher for being well-behaved, creative, and eager to take on new challenges, the Year 3 Jaguars showcased their abilities by presenting the “Make it Fly” project to parents, teachers, and staff during the recent event.

Parents can also watch the students’ journey in completing this project through the video below:

Sharing their experience working on the “Make it Fly” project, the Year 3 Jaguars shared:

“During the event celebrating the first 100 days of school, our class collaborated to complete the Technology project titled “Make it Fly” on Scratch 3.0. Ms. Nguyen Thi Diep directly guided us throughout the project, which was also part of our class curriculum.

The project took about 3 weeks to complete. During this time, we constantly exchanged ideas and discussed solutions to achieve the best results under Ms. Diep’s dedicated guidance. Each of us was assigned specific tasks, and we continuously supported each other to perform our parts to the best of our abilities.

At first, we were a bit nervous, but thanks to our teacher’s encouragement and daily practice, we became more confident. Everyone was excited and gave their best effort during the presentations, especially since our Parents also attended the event that day.

The Technology class has provided us with a wealth of knowledge and valuable skills. Ms. Diep always patiently answered our questions, helping us improve and grow every day. We are thrilled to have had the chance to work on such an interesting and meaningful project.”

Let’s continue to follow the students’ journey to witness even more proud moments and impressive technology projects in their upcoming learning adventures!
