CREST English Olympiad

For students who love English and want to challenge themselves with one of the most widely used languages worldwide, the CREST English Olympiad is a helpful intellectual competition that is arranged internationally for students in Kindergarten through Year 10.

Being involved in this competition not only allows Jaguars to demonstrate their courage and achieve success but also broaden their experiences, gain confidence, and learn new knowledge.

Specifically, this competition attracts hundreds of thousands of students from over 25 nations and territories each year. This helps Jaguars assess their foreign language proficiency in comparison to students at the international level. As a result, Jaguars can develop suitable learning strategies to advance their proficiency in the English language, one of the essential “means” of becoming global digital citizens.

Participants: Students from Year 1 – Year 10

Format: Online (except mobile devices, Internet Explorer, or Microsoft Edge browsers)

Important Timelines:

• Registration Deadline: October 20^th, 2023
• Round 1: November 29^th, 2023 & December 9^th, 2023
• Round 2: January 30^th, 2024

Awards and Certifications:

• Year 1: Candidates achieving 60% or more of the total exam score will receive a Medal and Certificate.
• Remaining participants: Commemorative medals, Medals, Certificates, and Gifts (Detailed information has been updated by the School in the announcement sent to Parents.)
