Field Trip: Let’s Discover Saigon Snow Town
Goals
Following the activities in the Christmas Festival “Jingle All the Way to SISS,” Sydney International School System will organize a Field Trip to Saigon Snow Town for students from Year 5 to Year 7. Here, students will be able to immerse themselves in the fun Christmas atmosphere and participate in activities to unwind after a stressful end-of-semester exam. This is also the first Field Trip for the students in the academic year 2023 – 2024.

Agenda
12:00 – 13:00: Students get ready to prepare and depart for Saigon Snow Town
13:00 – 13:15: Students take group photos by class
13:15 – 14:30: Students participate in the “Finding Santa Claus” activities and are given free time to play
14:30 – 15:00: Students receive the gifts prepared by their Parents in the activity “Believe in Santa” from Santa Claus
15:00 – 16:00: Students finish the trip and return to their campus
Explore the World of Snow with Jaguars
On the afternoon of December 22, 2023, the remaining residents of “SISS Wonderland,” including Year 5 and Secondary School Jaguars, boarded the bus to Saigon Snow Town.
It seems that the coldness of Saigon Snow Town cannot stop the Jaguars from enjoying their fun with games such as skiing, making snowmen, snowballing, or even taking group photos in many humorous poses.
Temporarily putting aside the pressure of end-of-semester exams, the students had memorable memories together in Saigon Snow Town. The distance between students also shortened, as they did not hesitate to get to know friends from other classes.
The Field Trip is not only a “wall-less” skills class but also a gift that SISS wants to give to the students before entering the winter break. Hopefully, they will have more energy to prepare better for the upcoming exams.
