An Exciting February for the Jaguars

The vibrant life of Spring seems to energize Jaguars of all year levels to actively study and participate in activities taking place throughout February in addition to the Spring Festival.

Officially returning to school on February 19, 2024, after the Lunar New Year break, Jaguars have shown a rich source of energy when bringing images of all-out experiences. Parents, let’s review the Jaguars’ outstanding activities in February!

Well-being Workshop: Using Social Networks Effectively in the 4.0 Era

On the last two days, February 21 and 22, the Jaguars joined NCS. Master of Psychology Mai My Hanh – Deputy Head of the Department of Psychology at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education and Member of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Psychological Association – to learn about social networks and social network behaviors of young people.

In the two Well-being Workshop sessions, our Jaguars have proven that they are digital citizens who know how to grasp current trends. The questions that the speaker asked were not difficult for them, and with their social knowledge, Jaguars had extremely lively exchanges with the speaker. In addition, Jaguars are also aware of the influence of social networks on their mental health, so they need to take practical measures to minimize this problem.

TEDxSISS Youth Competition 2023 – 2024 and Kick-off Meeting

For students at all year levels, the TEDxSISS Youth 2023 – 2024 has officially welcomed its first registered participants on February 21, 2024. The competition will include 2 rounds: the School Round (March 14, 2024) and the Final Round (March 30, 2024). Before going to the official competition round, students will have Consulting Sessions with their Advisor in charge to prepare and complete their presentation.

In addition, on February 27, 2024, Jaguars on the registration list participated in the Kick-off Meeting to listen to the Organizing Committee’s sharing on how to compete and take notes on the preparations needed for the presentation and list of important timelines. Some Jaguars also shared their expectations and goals when coming to this meaningful academic playground.

Sports Day: Meaningful Spirit Day of February

On February 22, 2024, Jaguars also dressed in sports outfits such as basketball, football, martial arts, etc. to respond to Sports Day. Dynamic, colorful, and meaningful – the outfits on the recent Sports Day have contributed to helping students express the spirit of love for fitness and sports as happy citizens. In addition, through those outfits, the students also expressed their personal style, thereby continuing to promote the message of respect for differences in culture and lifestyle.
