Unlock Potential with SISS Clubs

December 03, 2024

SISS Clubs are thoughtfully designed to align with students’ interests and aspirations, enabling them to uncover hidden potentials and nurture their passions early on.

The Clubs serve as an ideal environment for students to explore interests, develop skills, and connect with like-minded peers. Beyond being an enriching learning space, Clubs also offer a relaxed and creative atmosphere where students can unwind and discover new experiences.

By joining Clubs, students engage in diverse activities, spanning sports, arts, sciences, technology, and soft skills. These experiences not only enhance their knowledge but also foster teamwork, leadership, and real-world problem-solving abilities.

Moreover, Clubs act as a bridge, connecting students who share similar passions. Here, students can gain diverse perspectives from peers on various issues, viewpoints, or solutions. They also have opportunities to encourage and motivate each other to pursue their passions continuously.

The SISS Club System offers over 20 Clubs across diverse fields, allowing students to participate in meaningful sessions with teachers and friends. From Monday to Thursday, students join club activities (4 sessions per week, equivalent to 2 periods per week). Each club accommodates 15 – 30 members, and students can participate in up to 2 Clubs per semester based on their preferences. Students are grouped according to appropriate year levels to ensure a tailored and engaging experience.

SISS Clubs employ a variety of engaging learning methods, with a highlight on Project-Based Learning, where students work on projects based on their understanding and research.

For instance, in the TED Talks Club, students collaborate with foreign teachers to discuss and present projects aimed at improving the living environment, minimizing school violence, or enhancing mental well-being. Meanwhile, members of the Visual Arts Club explore diverse art forms, helping to refine their aesthetic appreciation.

We believe that actively participating in Clubs helps Jaguars build a dynamic and happy student life.
