Completing the “Conquer the Future – Connect the Knowledge” Project

In the joy of celebrating Tet, the “Conquer the Future – Connect the Knowledge” project was officially completed, marking the first successful milestone of the main project “Yen Bai, For a Brighter Tomorrow” in the academic year 2023 – 2024.

Since the beginning of the academic year 2023 – 2024, the Jaguars have actively participated in Spirit Days and many meaningful activities to raise money for the “Build A Better Tomorrow” Community Fund. During this academic year, the Community Fund will implement the main project “Yen Bai, For a Brighter Tomorrow” to help and spread love to people in the highland area of Son Thinh Town, Van Chan District, and Tuc Dan Commune, Tram Tau District, Yen Bai Province through four small projects, including the “Strengthen the Present – Create the Future” project, “Community House” project, “Conquer the Future – Connect the Knowledge” project, and “Way to School – Way to Dreams” project.

In particular, the “Conquer the Future – Connect the Knowledge” project has officially been completed, with a spacious Informatics room that has been in operation. With the tremendous help from the SISS community, the Community Fund was able to complete this meaningful Tet gift in time to present it to the students of Tuc Dan Primary & Secondary Ethnic Boarding High School (in Pate Village).

Specifically, the project has donated and equipped a system of 20 modern computers to ensure that students have access to technology and don’t have to use the computer lab of the neighboring school. This computer system will be used by 989 students from 30 classes.

By working together to complete the “Conquer the Future – Connect the Knowledge” project, Jaguars are gradually realizing one of their goals – which is to guide the community to become responsible digital citizens. Apart from consistently enhancing themselves every day, they also need to support other youth in gaining access to technology, as digital literacy is an essential skill for enabling the younger generation to seize opportunities in today’s globalized and connected world.

As we initially complete the first milestone on the journey of spreading kindness, the School is extremely grateful for the support and companionship of the parent community and Jaguars throughout the past time. Entering the new year 2024, let’s continue to make a difference by contributing to the “Build A Better Tomorrow” Community Fund!
